ODDZ Protocol – Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Protocol

ODDZ (the "Protocol") is a non-custodial software utility that enables users to participate in peer-to-peer event-based derivative swaps ("Positions"). ODDZ is not a bookmaker, broker, or financial advisor. All market outcomes are determined by public data and settled algorithmically.

2. Compliance & Eligibility

Accessing the Protocol constitutes your agreement that you are of legal age and that such participation is permitted under your local jurisdiction. Users are responsible for their own legal and tax compliance.

3. Risk Disclosure

Trading in event-based derivatives carries significant risk. The Protocol is provided "as is." ODDZ is not liable for capital losses resulting from market volatility, incorrect predictions, or network latency.

4. Protocol Service Fees

ODDZ applies a 3% usage fee at the time of position acquisition. 2% is allocated to the Market Curator for infrastructure maintenance, and 1% is allocated to the Protocol House for security and R&D.

5. Settlement & Oracle Governance

Markets are resolved using an Optimistic Oracle model. Payouts are subject to a community challenge window. In the event of a dispute, the ODDZ Governance Layer serves as the final auditor using the provided Source of Truth.

6. Geographic Restrictions

The Protocol is restricted in jurisdictions where event-based swaps or certain cryptocurrency activities are prohibited by law. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure they are not accessing the Protocol from a restricted region.
